Are Nixi Body knickers good for all types of incontinence?
Nixi Body knickers can hold 10-25ml of fluid so are great for stress & urge incontinence. However, we do not recommend that they are used for full incontinence.
Can Nixi Body knickers be used for periods as well?
Yes! They aren't just incontinence pants, they can be used for periods, sweat and discharge. No need to wear bulky, uncomfortable sanitary pads. With our discreet design there is no bulge visible at all and best of all they are fully washable.
Will it be obvious I am wearing incontinence or period knickers?
Absolutely not. We designed these knickers because of our own bladder incontinence so we know exactly what women want to wear. They are pretty and stylish whilst still being very absorbent - our Sporty range even has a no VPL guarantee!
How long will my bladder control underwear last?
Typically if looked after according to the washing instructions, they will last up to two years.
Can I wear my incontinence knickers when I play sports or workout?
Yes! They are the perfect accompaniment to your gym kit. Stretching puts your bladder under pressure and can cause urine to leak out so its a really good idea to wear your Nixi Body pants for added confidence and security. Plus there is no VPL with our Sporty Range which is a great bonus!
Will my Nixi Body knickers leak?
Our Nixi Body knickers are made with the best quality material. They have 4 layers of very absorbent gusset & we have 6 different styles which can retain 10-25 ml of fluid. The edges form a tight seal to hold moisture in. They have been designed to be as absorbent & discreet as possible but there are limitations! We do not recommend that these knickers are worn for full incontinence.
I have a really heavy period, will these work for me?
If you have a very heavy flow, we would always advise going for our Polly High Waist range. They have a super absorbent gusset that can hold up to 25ml - and they consistently get rave reviews from women with heavy periods!
However, we know every woman - and every period - is different. It’s possible that at some point in the day you may want to change your knickers, or you might feel more comfortable wearing the knickers as a back up alongside a cup or tampon. You know your body better than anyone - so do what feels right for you.
